Feb. 19th from 10:30-11:30 AM EST.  Join presenters Kimberly Lopez and Ashley Flanagan for this free webinar where they will share strategies to acknowledge and support diverse identities and needs of individuals who live and work in long-term care (LTC) homes. Attendees will receive self-reflection tools to think critically in order to support individuals with diverse social identities, with implications for how we provide care and services in LTC. Feb. 27th, 2020 from 12-1PM EST. Join Dr. Susan Hunter for this presentation as she discusses the epidemiology and risk factors for falls in people with dementia and mobility aids as a falls risk factor in people with dementia. To learn more or to register click here.

March 30-31, 2020 from 8am to 4pm at the 1026 Baseline Rd. Ottawa. This 2 day education series focuses on clinical topics related to the provision of care to older adults including sessions on dementia, delirium, depression, mobility, falls, capacity and living with risk.  To learn more or to register click here.

March 30 - April 1 at the Toronto Congress Centre. The Ontario Long Term Care Association & Ontario Retirement Communities Association are hosting this convention & trade show. It is Canada's largest gathering of long-term care and retirement home professionals. With more than 1,200 delegates and over 250 exhibitors, this year's event will feature exception keynote speakers and educational session that cover a range of hot topics in both the long-term care and retirement community sectors. Registration is now open and early-bird rates are available until February 14. April 18 - 20, 2020 at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. This workshop is designed for healthcare providers working in oncology or palliative care settings.
