Neil Elford, Director, Spiritual Health, Mission & Ethics, Providence Care Hospital & Hotel Dieu Kingston, gave an overview of Advance Care Planning (ACP) including background information, approaches to ACP, and role of physicians in ACP within this presentation.

Dr. Brent Wolfrom, Curriculum Director, Staff Physician, Supervising and Teaching Family Medicine residents, gave an overview of Consent to Treatment in Long-Term Care including who a substitute decision maker is, what informed consent is, and who physicians need to obtain consent from.
