Pallium, in collaboration with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), is providing free access to essential education on palliative care for all health care professionals in response to this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. For the next 3 months, Pallium and CMA have made 6 Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care (LEAP) modules available for free to all health care professionals. In doing so, we hope to contribute much needed education resources to the dedicated health care teams across Canada and ensure patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, receive the care they need. These modules, currently only available in English, are self-directed and completed at the learner’s own pace.
